Here at the Canadian College of Healthcare and Pharmaceutics (CCHAP) we are thrilled to announce a new funding initiative aimed at equipping youth with a wide range of skills and knowledge to successfully participate in the current and future labor market. This initiative promotes education and skills as key components of labor market participation, specifically for healthcare roles in Ontario.

Through the Youth Employment and Skills Strategy (YESS) Program, CCHAP seeks to improve access for youth, including youth with disabilities, youth from official language minority communities, youth identifying as 2SLGBTQI+, and early-career professionals, to in-demand skills. Our program combines educational courses, hands-on training, and job experience. The program offers 100% funding for the following industry-specific micro-credentials and up-skilling workshops.

Applicable Programs:

• Phlebotomy Certificate Program
• Healthcare Management
• Clinical Research Micro-credential with Capstone Project
• Advanced Analytics/Business Analytics Micro-credential with Capstone Project

• A Canadian citizen, or permanent resident or a protected person as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act;
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations.
• You are out of School
• You are not collecting Employment Insurance benefits
• Between the age of 18 and 30
